Loan Administration Assistant - Rockwall

This position is located in office at the Rockwall Branch - 2830 Ridge Road, Rockwall, TX 75032

The Loan Admin Assistant prepares loan documents for closing of consumer, commercial, and real estate loan products to ensure full compliance and quality of loan documentation for funding. Resolves loan documentation issues with lending team collaborating on problem solving and process improvements efforts to maintain and continuously improve loan operations policy, procedure, and performance.

Essential Functions/Job Responsibilities

  • Verify loan applications and documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • Ensure all necessary documents are attached to loan applications.
  • Answer inquiries from loan applicants.
  • Coordinate with additional departments to submit loan requests.
  • Monitor loan application status and provide updates to applicants.
  • Communicate with loan processors and underwriters to resolve any issues with loan applications.
  • Review and verify loan documents before submitting them for approval.
  • Maintain accurate records of all loan applications and documents.
  • Generate reports on loan processing.
  • Assist loan officers with any administrative tasks.
  • Follow up with customers regarding the status of loans.
  • Manage loan exceptions.
  • Contact customers to obtain annual financials as per loan covenants.
  • Display thorough knowledge of all commercial loan products and fraud products.
  • Assist clients with loan draws.
  • Process payment requests.
  • Process and respond to all customer requests by the end of the business day.  This includes but is not limited to transfers, wires, information, etc.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in financial services, lending, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of financial services regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in banking software applications and computer systems, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
